New Balance Shoe Trial – Waiver & Release of Liability
(Organised by GM Sports Sdn Bhd, trading as Sprint)
By ticking the checkbox above and completing my registration, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the following:
1. I am participating in the Sprint Shake Out Run (“the Event”) voluntarily and entirely at my own risk.
2. I understand that running involves inherent risks including (but not limited to) muscle injuries, sprains, fractures, dehydration, heat stroke, heart attack, falls, collisions, permanent disability, or even death.
3. I confirm that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for this event, and have no medical condition that could increase my risk or the risk to others.
4. I hereby release, waive, and discharge GM Sports Sdn Bhd (trading as Sprint), its directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and any venue owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from any injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur before, during, or after the Event — even if caused by negligence of the released parties.
5. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organisers against any claims brought by third parties because of my actions or participation.
6. I grant permission for my name, photo, video, or likeness taken during the Event to be used for promotional purposes without payment.
